ROWAN HISAYO BUCHANAN

Rowan Hisayo Buchanan published an anthology of stories, called Go Home!, by Asian American writers exploring issues of home and identity. This book gives voice to the struggles and contradictions experienced by many growing up with dual cultural identities.

Wong Fu Productions is a YouTube channel for Asian Americans by Asian Americans. It has amassed a huge following with nearly 200 million views and over a million subscribers, reflecting how strongly Asian Americans desire to have their own voice and see themselves represented in the media.

Ali Wong is a comedian breaking the mold on two fronts: by pursuing a career as a comic coming from an Asian American family, and as an Asian woman in comedy. A lot of her material centers on challenging and calling out Asian American stereotypes around sex and relationships.
